4014 screams through Portage bound for Seward, this is the last place to shoot the train until it gets to Moose point as the train will get deep into the mountains and glaciers.
4014 makes the S curve from the east side of Snow River to the west side passing through a very nice truss Bridge with a absolutely beautiful background on the other side of the river.
After running through the most inaccessible part of the railroad the coal train finally comes back within viewing range of the road and crosses trail lake in Moose Pass.
