CSX 8457 hammers the Conrail diamond at Willow Creek Road in Portage, IN in August of 1996. 8457 was rebuilt from a SD40 and the CSX line is now double track.
Monday's edition of the Avon-Lafayette turn heads back south past the South Raub defect detector and single semaphore. This is as far north as the blades go on the former Monon.
CSX southbound J726-10 splits the semaphores at Crawfordsville, Indiana. The blades are due to be replaced this winter. The video of this scene can be seen on railvideos.net at this link.
