A pure IC consist is recorded leading the 337 train today, seen crossing the Rock River in downtown Rockford from the public boatlaunch. The train will re-crew in Freeport a few miles west.
Coming 'round "schoolhouse curve" the CN sends out a pure IC lashup on this westbound. The train has just left Rockford and a fresh crew awaits at Freeport.
2 nice lashups in one day at Freeport. First,the blue CNs, now on the 14 hour late M337, conducting a rare meet in Freeport with M338, has 3 black Illinois Centrals, IC 6065, IC 1030, and IC 6018.... (more)
