A 1/4 mile snowshoe adventure over the most snow on the BNSF Scenic sub since 1957, yielded this shot of an EB Z train over Deception Creek Bridge. My first attempt at snowshoe rail fanning turned out to be a success, due in no small part to my coach and guide Ross Fotheringham. Ross made it in half the time, while I struggled up the hill in near exhaustion!
