NS 5406 (ex-CR 6712) was retired from the active roster in early May 2013 and is seen here being prepped for disassembly. As part of the SD40E capital rebuild program it will be rebuilt as NS 6354. To see a photo of this unit in active service only a few months earlier, click here.
