More F-units in the Carolinas! "Lehigh Valley" 578 and 576 rest in the bitter night air in Ranlo, NC. Both units were originally built for the Chicago & Northwestern in 1949, purchased by NJ Transit, then by the United Railway Historical Society (where they recieved their LV paint) and are now being leased by the Piedmont & Northern (owned by Iowa Pacific Holdings).
