WA-2 crosses the Kennebec River. This photo actually only shows a small portion of the bridge, as the train is seen in between two small islands on the river.
GP-9 #71 and GP-7 #15 idle at the west end of Waterville Yard. Guilford still has 10 GP-7 or 9s on the roster. The 2 remaining GP-7s are ex-Maine Central and the 8 GP-9s are Ex Boston & Maine.
